Yes - but only if your insurance policy specifically says that business use is insured. Where business use is built-in it is normally added specifically to social, domestic and pleasure cover.

Business use includes driving whilst engaged on a journey whose purpose is to further business interests. By-the-way, business use does not include commuting to and from your normal place of work. Commuting needs to be covered separately.

Other driving activities that require specific insurance approval include hiring, competitions (other than social treasure hunts), racing, pace-making, rallies and speed testing.
